The collection contains official records of the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Salisbury (now Harare, Zimbabwe), including marriage and baptism registers and minutes of committee meetings. Of particular interest are the letters of the Rev. Harry O. Brigg to his friend, "Bert" at Salisbury. Also of interest is the Rev. W.T. Grantham's four-volume diary in which he reveals his abhorrence of drunkenness, dalliances of women and adultery.
